Day 2: A Day in Baku: Exploring History, Shopping, and Architectural Marvels
After breakfast at the hotel, the tour begins with a visit to the Old City, the historical core of Baku. Surrounded by well-protected walls, it is the most ancient part of Baku. After lunch, the group will explore Nizami Street, known for its shopping. The tour continues with a visit to the Heydar Aliyev Center, a 57,500 m² building designed by Zaha Hadid, noted for its distinctive, curved architecture. The day concludes with a visit to the Ferris Wheel for a beautiful view of the city and the Caspian Sea, before returning to the hotel.
