Sikkim Darjeeling Tour

Continue your adventure in Darjeeling, known as the "Queen of the Hills." Take a ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (a UNESCO World Heritage site) and enjoy tea-tasting sessions at world-famous tea gardens. Watch the sunrise from Tiger Hill, where the first rays of sunlight illuminate the peaks of Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest on clear days, creating a truly unforgettable sight. Visit the Ghoom Monastery and explore bustling markets, where you can pick up handmade crafts and savor regional delicacies.

Day 1: Pickup from Kakkarvitta-Gangtok

Kakkarvitta-Gangtok (5,500 ft), (160 kms / 5hrs) via Rangpo, Sikkim Check post where need to make ILP (Inner Line Permit for Nepalese National) transfer to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2: Start a tour to Tsomgo Lake

After heavy breakfast start a tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft, 34km). Lake is 1 km long, oval in shape and 50 ft deep. Here you can find Cable Car ride & Yak Riding at own Expense. Back to Gangtok. Night stay at Gangtok.

Day 3: Half day sightseeing

Morning go for half day sightseeing covering Ropeway (at own Expense), Do-DrulChorten, Tashi View Point, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Sunday Closed), Ban Jhakri Falls & Flower Show (Orchid). Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 4: Proceed to Darjeeling

After Breakfast, Morning go for sightseeing, Siddheswar Dham, Namchi (replica of Chardham). Proceed to Darjeeling. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 5: Drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga

Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak) (subject to clear weather), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasay Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs). Proceed to Pashupatinagar reach at evening, and tour ends.

Accommodation: Hotel stays for 6 nights in Gangtok, Lachung, and Darjeeling.
Meals: Breakfast and dinner at the hotels.
Transportation: Transfers from NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok, Lachung, and Darjeeling, and local sightseeing in a private vehicle.
