The Annapurna Base Camp Trek offers breathtaking mountain views and the opportunity to experience typical Nepali villages, local culture, and traditional Himalayan life. The route passes through tranquil landscapes, Gurung and Magar villages, and lush rhododendron, bamboo, and alpine forests, culminating at Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m).

Begin your journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara with a scenic 6-hour drive. The route offers stunning views of the Himalayan foothills, terraced fields, and charming villages. As you travel along the Prithvi Highway, you'll pass by the Trishuli River, providing picturesque landscapes and opportunities for photography. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you'll be greeted by the serene beauty of this lakeside city, perfect for relaxation and exploration.
Begin your journey with a drive to Nayapul, where you'll start your hike to Tikhe Dhunga (1,495m/4,905ft). The 4-hour trek takes you through picturesque landscapes, including terraced fields, lush forests, and charming villages. As you ascend, you'll cross suspension bridges and follow the Bhurungdi Khola river, enjoying the serene natural beauty. Upon reaching Tikhe Dhunga, you'll find a cozy teahouse to rest and prepare for the next day's adventure.
Today we make a long steep incline of 1350m to reach our destination – it is a tough 3000 or so steps up. We will pass through Large Magar Village, Ulleri(2080m). We will then cross two streams and arrive at Nagethanti. From Nangethanti we will hike to Ghorepani with the altitude of 2850m. The views along the way of Mt. Dhaulagiri(8167m), The Tukuche Nilgiri(6940m), Hiunchuli(6441m) and the Tarke Kang, will make today well-worth the climb.
To catch the best view at Poon Hill, we will start our walk early in the morning. We will reach the viewing platform at sunrise to witness the majestic Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Mountains. After this excursion, we will return to Ghorepani for breakfast before continuing our journey to Tadapani.
Today, we will descend a steep track through the forest from Tadapani to Chhomrong. The trail offers a mix of dense forests and charming villages. Upon reaching Chhomrong, a beautiful Gurung village, you'll be greeted with stunning mountain views and warm hospitality, making it an ideal place to rest and recharge.
Following the Chhomrong Khola, we will ascend to Khuldigahar (2,380m), where the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) is situated. From there, our trail descends to Dovan.
We will pass through Rhododendron bamboo forest to Hinko (3020m) and then settle at Deurali for the night.
Our journey to the Annapurna base camp will be spectacular with monumental mountain views.
We will descend 1700m today to Modi Khola and then to Bamboo.
Begin your 6-hour trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda Hot Spring (1,780m/5,840ft). The trail takes you through lush forests and terraced fields, offering a mix of gentle slopes and steeper descents. As you make your way to Jhinu Danda, you'll pass through charming villages and enjoy the serene natural beauty of the region. Upon reaching Jhinu Danda, you'll have the opportunity to relax and rejuvenate in the natural hot springs, providing a perfect end to your day's trek.
Begin your 5-hour walk from Jhinu Danda to Pokhara (910m/2,985ft). The trail takes you through lush forests, terraced fields, and charming villages. As you descend, you'll enjoy the serene natural beauty and picturesque landscapes. Upon reaching Pokhara, you'll be greeted by the vibrant atmosphere of this lakeside city, perfect for relaxation and exploration.
Embark on a scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, which takes approximately 6-7 hours. The journey offers stunning views of the Himalayan foothills, terraced fields, and charming villages. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you'll be greeted by the vibrant atmosphere of this culturally rich city, perfect for exploration and relaxation.
