Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. After checking in and taking a short break, we will provide a brief overview of your tour. You can enjoy your leisure time in the afternoon at the hotel or take a walk around Kathmandu Durbar Square. In the evening, we will serve a traditional Nepali dinner with folk dance performances at a local restaurant, giving you ample time to appreciate the moment with your partner.
On the first and second days of your tour, we will take you to some of the most amazing cultural heritage sites in the Kathmandu Valley. Among them, seven are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
This location offers an outstanding view of the sunset, and on a clear day, Mount Everest can be seen. Early in the morning, we will wake you up for a sunrise view. The sun will slowly rise, lighting up the mountain peaks. The Himalayas, including Kanchenjunga, Everest, Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and Manaslu ranges, will turn golden. After breakfast, we will return to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur City. We will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a charming spot with pagoda and shikhara-styled temples grouped around the ancient Fifty-Five-Window Palace. The square highlights the ancient kings perched on stone monoliths, guardian deities in their sanctuaries, and intricate wood carvings, creating a well-orchestrated symphony.
Phewa Lake, the most famous lake in Nepal, measures approximately 1.5 km by 4 km and is the centerpiece of attractions in Pokhara. The lake is a popular recreational area, with brightly painted wooden boats and sailboats available for rent at reasonable prices. The eastern shoreline, known as Lakeside or Baidam, features a variety of hotels, restaurants, bookshops, and souvenir shops. One of the most captivating aspects of the lakeside is the stunning view of the mountains, especially when the still water reflects the peaks, creating a double image. Drive to Royal Chitwan National Park, your destination for wildlife viewing. Upon arrival, transfer to the lodge for refreshments and a briefing about the afternoon programs and activities. Possible activities for the day include a nature walk, a visit to a Tharu village, and a museum tour.
After morning tea, enjoy a half-hour elephant ride, encountering various wild animals such as one-horned rhinos, barking deer, and wild boars. If you visit in spring, you might even spot a tiger. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Afterward, embark on a jungle walk on foot and a boating excursion. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, participate in an elephant bath or visit the elephant breeding center. An English-speaking nature guide will lead your jungle program.
After breakfast, enjoy a bird-watching tour. Then, we will leave for Kathmandu, a world-renowned natural town. Spend a leisurely day in Kathmandu, exploring Thamel for shopping. In the evening, we will have a welcome or farewell dinner at a cultural restaurant, marking the end of our tour program.
