Sailung and Kalinchowk Temple Tour 1N & 2D

Sailung : Sailung is a beautiful hill area on the border of Dolakha and Ramechhap districts, about 3,146 meters above sea level. Known as the “Land of a Hundred Hills,” it offers stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas. The place is sacred to both Hindus and Tamang Buddhists, symbolizing peace and harmony. The Sailung Mahadev Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a popular pilgrimage site. Located around 130 kilometers from Kathmandu, Sailung is best visited in autumn or spring when the weather is clear and the hills are full of color.

Kalinchowk : Kalinchowk, located in Dolakha about 150 km from Kathmandu, is a famous hill station and pilgrimage site known for the Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple at 3,842 meters. From the temple, visitors can enjoy stunning views of the Gaurishankar, Langtang, and Dorje Lakpa ranges. Just below lies Kuri Village, the main gateway to the temple, offering cozy lodges, local food, and a peaceful atmosphere. In winter, Kuri turns into a snowy wonderland, making it popular for snow activities. Together, Kalinchowk and Kuri Village are ideal for a short, scenic, and spiritual getaway.

Day 1: Kathmandu – Sailung – Kuri Village

Meeting at a pick up point and depart to Sailung. Enjoying 6 to 8 hours of scenic drive along the Bhotekoshi river and scenic forest hills, village and market. On the way we will have delicious lunch. Around 3-4 hours’ drive reach to Sailung. Proceed for sightseeing. After completion of Sightseeing resume drive of 3 hours towards Kuri Village. Upon arrival in Kuri Village we will check-into the hotel. In the late evening, have dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 2: Kuri Village – Dolakha Bhimsen – Kathmandu

Early in the moring we proceed to the cable car station by riding a cable car to Kalinchowk temple or hiking to Kalinchowk Temple. Today we can experience a varied panoramic 360-degree View of Kuri village. Enjoying the splendid Himalayas sight of Langtang himal, Ganesh, Gauri Sankar, Shish pangma himal etc. After 6 minutes by Cable Car and 1.5 Hours by Hike, we reached Kalinchowk temple - the idol is worshipped by both Hindu and Buddhist- perform puja in the temple. Then, have breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast, we check-out the hotel and drive to Dolakha Bhimsen Temple for 1.5 Hours. Upon arrival visit to Temple and perform Puja. After all, drive to Kathmandu approximately 145km from the Dolakha Bhimsen Temple. Also have delicious lunch on the way. Upon arrival in Kathmandu Journey Ends.
